Must Have Skills
Should have 5 to 12 years of technical experience with most key competencies
Solid SQL and T-SQL development skills, including complex queries, stored procedures, views, functions, joins, aggregations, and data validation logic.
SQL Server experience, including database design fundamentals, data loading and extraction approaches, indexing concepts, and operational support.
Performance tuning experience, including troubleshooting slow queries, reviewing execution plans, optimizing T-SQL, and identifying bottlenecks in data workflows.
Microsoft Fabric experience, including working with Fabric data workloads and understanding how data is loaded, stored, transformed, and extracted for member use cases.
Ability to build and support reliable data movement patterns for batch loads, extracts, reconciliations, and downstream analytics/reporting consumption.




Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including member-facing audiences.
Solid troubleshooting, problem-solving, documentation, and ownership skills.

Nice To Have Skills
Experience with OneLake and Fabric lakehouse or warehouse patterns.
Experience with Microsoft Purview, data cataloging, lineage, governance, or sensitivity classification.
Experience with Data Agents or other emerging Microsoft Fabric tooling.
Experience with Fabric Data Factory, notebooks, pipelines, semantic models, Direct Lake, or Power BI integration patterns.
Experience with automation, monitoring, alerting, CI/CD, source control, and deployment practices for data integration solutions.
Experience supporting secure data sharing, member extracts, data contracts, or repeatable onboarding patterns.
