Role Summary

The EHS Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) systems across the manufacturing plant. The role involves ensuring statutory compliance, promoting a robust safety culture, minimizing environmental impact, and driving continuous improvement in EHS performance.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and protected work practices across the plant.
Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations and statutory requirements.
Maintain compliance with ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety Management System).
Conduct risk assessments, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), HIRA, and implement effective control measures.
Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Plan and conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and compliance reviews.
Drive Behaviour-Based Safety (BBS) and continuous safety awareness programs.
Monitor waste management, hazardous waste handling, emissions, and pollution control activities.
Coordinate with government authorities such as the Pollution Control Board, Factory Inspectorate, Fire Department, and other regulatory agencies.




Ensure compliance with the Factories Act, environmental regulations, and other statutory requirements.
Manage emergency preparedness, fire safety systems, mock drills, and disaster management plans.
Develop and deliver EHS induction and training programs for employees, contractors, and visitors.
Monitor EHS KPIs and prepare MIS reports for management review.
Promote sustainability initiatives including energy conservation, water management, and waste reduction.
Support ESG initiatives and ensure environmental reporting requirements are met.
Work closely with Production, Maintenance, Quality, HR, and Operations teams to foster a proactive safety culture.
