Role & responsibilities
Contractual & Commercial Work: Drafting and reviewing vendor agreements, guest contracts, franchise agreements, and partnership contracts.
Legal Compliance: Ensuring the hotel adheres to local, state, and central laws, including labor laws, food safety regulations, liquor licensing, and environmental regulations.
Labor & Employment Matters: Handling employee disputes, advising on hiring/firing, and ensuring compliance with labor laws to avoid litigation.
Liability and Dispute Resolution: Managing liability issues regarding guest property or accidents, defending the hotel in lawsuits, and settling claims through negotiation.
Confidentiality: Maintaining strict confidentiality regarding hotel business and, if applicable, guest information.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring all necessary licenses and permits are up-to-date and renewing them periodically.
