Job Summary : The Senior Lab Incharge is responsible for the smooth functioning of all three science laboratories in accordance with the standards specified by the IB school.
Responsibility
Laboratory preparatory work
Scientific knowledge and understanding and ability to handle lab equipment
Organize and prepare the labs for class sessions and examinations
Maintain work area and equipment in the prep lab
Work with teachers and head of the science departments to plan
Work with the teachers and follow guidelines while setting and adhering to safety standards
Maintain, construct and operate equipment




Carry out tests to verify material supplied Inventory Management
Create and follow a process oriented approach towards managing all lab requirements
Identify materials required for all labs and liaise with procurement team
Maintain a check on stock and prepare purchase orders in time to ensure timely delivery of material
Liaise with vendors and ensure material purchased is the best quality and approved by the department head
Check material for expiry and manage disposal of waste.
