Role & responsibilities
Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of telecom tower sites to ensure maximum uptime.
Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in electrical, electronic, and telecom systems at sites.
Monitor energy usage and implement efficiency measures to reduce operational costs.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements during all site activities.
Supervise partner technicians and validate the quality of their work.
Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, site performance, and fault reports.
Coordinate with the Area Operations Manager for escalations and reporting.
Support installation and commissioning of recent equipment or upgrades at tower sites.
Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and restore services within defined SLAs.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Preferred candidate profile
Education: Bachelors degree in Electrical, Electronics,



or Telecommunications Engineering.
Experience: 28 years in telecom infrastructure operations & maintenance, preferably with tower site exposure.
Technical Skills:
Operations & Maintenance of telecom tower sites
Electrical systems and power management
Preventive & corrective maintenance
Fault diagnosis and troubleshooting
Energy efficiency practices
Familiarity with remote monitoring tools/software
Certifications: Safety compliance certifications (electrical safety, OHS standards) preferred.
Soft Skills: Solid problem-solving ability, effective communication, team collaboration, and vendor/technician supervision.
Work Workplace: Willingness to travel to tower sites, ability to work in outdoor conditions, and flexibility for emergency call-outs.
