We are seeking a deeply networked industrial sales professional to anchor our Gujarat and Western India
expansion.
Role Overview
The Industry Sales Lead will drive B2B enterprise sales in Mumbai and South-west region, focusing on industrial customers (effluent generating industries eg: chemical, FMCG, Pharma, Paper, Sugar, etc.).
This is a penetration-driven role — requiring existing industry relationships and strong technical solution selling capabilities, preferably with existing & relevant client industry connections across the West Region.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Industrial Sales
Leverage existing connections in Mumbai industries (Gujarat is a plus point)
Identify high-value accounts and penetrate decision-making layers
Present IoT-enabled technical water management solutions
End-to-End Revenue Ownership
Manage full sales funnel: outreach meeting proposal negotiation closure
Drive revenue targets independently
Build sticky,
multi-year enterprise accounts
Relationship Management
Develop trust with plant heads, EHS heads, operations teams, and CXOs
Build repeat business and expansion within accounts
Market Intelligence
Monitor regulatory landscape and compliance needs
Identify white-space opportunities within industrial clusters
Required Qualifications & Skills
Must Haves:
MUST HAVE: 8–12 years of industrial/infra B2B sales experience
MUST HAVE: Solid existing network in Mumbai industries
MUST HAVE: Technical solution selling background in Water Research and Industrial companies
Local language proficiency & local presence essential
Own four-wheeler (regular plant visits required)
Willingness to travel across West and South regions as required
Preferred:
Exposure to climate-tech, wastewater, or compliance-heavy sectors
Experience in enterprise deal structuring
Solid existing network in Mumbai industries
