A venture capital fund is hiring an Associate / Analyst for company research and portfolio management.

Key responsibilities:
Industry and primary company research across the portfolio and coverage universe
Business and financial research and diligence on startups raising capital, including in-depth analysis of industry and competition, and preparation of detailed research notes
In-depth industry research using global and domestic data, mapping the entire chain of participants
Primary research including channel checks, plant visits and company visits
Due diligence, engaging directly with founders and liaising with legal counsel through deal closure
Research on deals, trends and transactions in the early-stage startup ecosystem
Build a network of industry participants across coverage sectors and write update notes and reports
Build solid connect with portfolio company managements

Candidate profile: 2+ years of venture capital experience. Hands-on multi-tasker, self-directed, solid in industry and on-ground primary research. Excellent oral and written communication is mandatory. PowerPoint and Excel expertise required. Absolute discretion with confidential matters.
