Role Overview

An SRA Liaison Architect is responsible for coordinating and obtaining approvals for redevelopment projects under the Slum Rehabilitation Scheme (SRA). Dealing with commercials on SRA projects. The role combines architectural expertise with liaison and regulatory approval work, ensuring compliance with statutory norms and smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities
SRA Proposal Preparation
Draft and submit SRA redevelopment proposals.
Verify land records, property cards, CTS plans, and ownership documents.
Conduct feasibility studies as per SRA regulations.
Government Liaison & Approvals
Coordinate with authorities including SRA, MCGM, MMRDA, Revenue Department, City Survey Office, Fire Department, and Setting Department.
Follow up for approvals such as LOI, IOA, CC, amendments, revised approvals, and Occupation Certificates.
Architectural & Technical Work
Prepare drawings and layouts in line with Development Control Regulations (DCR/DCPR).
Collaborate with surveyors, structural consultants, and MEP consultants.
Ensure compliance with SRA and DCPR norms.

• Documentation




Prepare and maintain Annexures I, II & III, architect certificates, area statements, rehab and sale component calculations, agreements, and society documents.
Maintain approval tracking records.

• Site Coordination
Attend site meetings and coordinate with developers, societies, tenants/slum dwellers, and contractors.
Resolve issues related to approvals and documentation.

Required Skills
Solid knowledge of Development Control and Promotion Regulations (DCPR 2034), Slum Rehabilitation Scheme, SRA circulars, and Government Resolutions.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and MS Office.
Ability to prepare FSI calculations and area statements.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills with government departments.
Experience in SRA or redevelopment projects is highly desirable.

Experience Requirement
Senior Liaison Architect: 10+ years of experience in liaisoning and redevelopment projects.
