Utility Specialist Black and Support Utilities

Operational knowledge:

Boilers (Thermax/Forbes/IBL/Energy process etc) with various fuels: DOC, briquette, LDO, HSD. Air Compressors (Atlas Copco, IR), screw/scroll, Dryers (HOC, Heatless, Refrigerated). DG sets (Above 1000KVA) and critical backup systems.

Review and support:

Utility per unit cost, SFR optimization, layouts and qualification, boiler efficiency tracking and feedwater quality, pressure dew point control, annual boiler inspection, safety systems (IBR compliance), Different DG periodic checks.

Accountability:
All critical utilities in running/standby mode must be healthy.
Review SOPs, PM checklists, and get them revise based on efficacy.
Conduct capability assessments of the utility team at all sites.




Ensure critical inventory (like Pump bearing, filters, maintenance kits, sensors) is maintained.
Take a proactive approach to mitigate riskregular site visits and cross-site support.
Ensure operations and maintenance adhere to OEM recommendations.
Ensure for the training to the utility staff towards operation and maintenance.
Promote energy and cost optimization across utility systems.
