Role & responsibilities
Adult cardiac anaesthesia
Off-pump and on-pump cardiac surgery
Structural heart and hybrid procedures
Transcatheter interventions (TAVI/TAVR, MitraClip, etc.)
Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE)
Advanced haemodynamic monitoring
Cardiac Critical Care and ECMO (desirable)
Lead perioperative cardiac anaesthesia services for complex cardiac surgical and interventional procedures.
Collaborate closely with cardiac surgeons, cardiologists, intensivists, perfusionist, and nursing teams to deliver outstanding clinical outcomes.
Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement initiatives, teaching, and research. Mentor junior consultants, fellows, residents, and anaesthesia staff.
Contribute to the continued growth and development of the institute's cardiac anaesthesia services.
