Operate conventional lathe machines for precision machining operations such as turning, facing, threading, boring, grooving, and taper turning.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, job specifications, and manufacturing process sheets.
Set up jobs, select cutting tools, and adjust machine parameters (speed, feed, depth of cut) as per material requirements.
Measure finished components using Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Dial Gauges, and other precision measuring instruments to ensure dimensional accuracy.
Perform routine machine maintenance, maintain housekeeping, and follow safety and quality standards.
