Key Responsibilities:

Laboratory Preparation & Maintenance
Prepare, set up, and organize laboratory equipment, chemicals, and specimens for physiology practical sessions.
Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies and coordinate timely procurement.
Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments such as spirometers, ECG machines, and blood pressure monitors.
Ensure proper disposal of bio-hazardous waste as per institutional guidelines.

Practical Session Support
Assist faculty and students during physiology practicals and demonstrations.
Guide students on the protected handling and use of laboratory equipment.
Provide technical assistance during practical assessments and examinations.

Safety & Compliance
Ensure compliance with laboratory safety protocols.
Report laboratory incidents, spills, accidents, or equipment malfunctions promptly.
Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the laboratory.

Documentation & Record Management
Maintain accurate records of experiments, sample storage, and equipment usage.
Assist in preparing laboratory reports, manuals, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).




Support faculty in research projects involving laboratory specimens and instruments.
Perform data entry and maintain documentation accurately.

Administrative Support
Assist faculty and departmental staff with documentation, printing, scanning, filing, and correspondence.
Maintain departmental records and confidential documents.
Support students with laboratory schedules, practical examinations, and departmental information.
Update attendance records and departmental reports.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Physiology, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Medical Laboratory Technology, or a related discipline.
Freshers with relevant laboratory exposure are encouraged to apply.

Preferred Skills:
Basic knowledge of laboratory equipment and safety procedures.
Familiarity with physiological laboratory instruments.
Positive documentation and record-keeping skills.
Basic computer proficiency (MS Office and data entry).
Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and students.
