Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
Support Business case preparation for Material Cost of Powertrain system.
Share part/ system wise material cost with platform team.
Evaluating Material Cost at System/Part level at different stage of Development of Product from Business case to SOP
Keep track on timely feasibility comments on SOR basis business case targets
Support CDMM team to prepare optimised TSO (Technical Signoff)
Support SSU and PCL on timely SBC (Should be Cost)
Timely communication of ROCM SBC to SSU and PCL
Support Internal systems to facilitate necessary cost approvals due to all change events wrt Cost
Closely work with CFT to get desired cost inputs and First time right SBC.
Support PCL for montoring and tracking of Project business case ( material cost targets)
Provide visibility on overall material cost and raise necessary risk alarms along with mitigation measures
Should Be costing for Automotive Components
Technical Knowhow of various manufacturing process,



its cost drivers & ability to optimize the cost through various alternative & optimized process.
Identify the areas of cost reduction through design iteration & assist design to achieve the cost targets.
Cost benchmarking of the Internal & external powertrains
