About the Role

Hummingbird Web Solutions is looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor to join our team on a 6-month contract basis. The ideal candidate should have 13 years of hands-on experience in video editing and be able to transform raw footage into engaging, high-quality content for educational, promotional, and social media platforms.

Type: Contract 6 Months

Location: Remote OR On-site (Pune)

Compensation: 35,000 per month

Key Responsibilities
Edit educational, promotional, marketing, and social media videos.
Create engaging edits with transitions, captions, graphics, music, and sound effects.
Perform basic colour correction, audio cleanup, and sound balancing.
Ensure videos have strong pacing, storytelling, and visual consistency.
Work with the design and marketing teams to understand content requirements.
Manage multiple video editing tasks and deliver projects within deadlines.
Stay updated with current video editing trends and formats for social media.




Use AI-powered video editing tools to improve efficiency and workflow.

Requirements
13 years of qualified experience in video editing.
Strong hands-on experience with Adobe Premiere Pro or equivalent editing software.
Good understanding of pacing, composition, storytelling, transitions, and visual aesthetics.
Ability to independently handle video editing projects from raw footage to final output.
Good understanding of social media video formats and content requirements.
Robust attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Portfolio or showreel showcasing previous video editing work is required.
Valuable english communication skills.

Good to Have
Experience with After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop, or Final Cut Pro.
Familiarity with AI video editing tools such as Descript, Runway, CapCut AI, or similar tools.
Experience creating short-form content such as Reels, Shorts, and promotional videos.
