Detailed Job description:
Prepare UK VAT Returns, support the team members in query resolution.
Prepare the monthly UK VAT and IPT tax account reconciliations.
Prepare Tax workpapers and IPT returns
Perform Research on the open items and resolve them in timely manner.
Assist team to prepare internal reports, provide support in Audits and report deficiencies to offshore team.
Provide support to onshore team with tax audits as they arise
Required to possess deep knowledge of the all the activities, workflow, expectations of all end clients
To ensure timely and accurate delivery of daily, monthly and periodic processing of client requirements
Should establish processes controls to ensure highest quality levels of performance is achieved on a day-to day basis.
To handle any escalation w.r.t. any operational issue




Should be able to understand & anticipate Clients business needs, concerns & issues, and be able to proactively resolve the same.
Constantly look for prospects to improve the client processing and provide value addition to client by exceeding expectations
Perform review of journal entries, settlements, and balance sheet reconciliations
Collaborate and drive any adhoc projects related to testing, recent deployment, etc. with onshore clients
Coordinate with multiple stakeholders (Upstream and Downstream) on a regular basis.
Provide audit support, create and review of working files and summary reports, etc. for auditor
Ensure Internal Control compliance and External Audit requirements are met at all times
