Role & responsibilities
Prepare detailed cost estimates for MEP systems based on design drawings and specifications.
Assist in the preparation of BOQs (Bill of Quantities) for MEP works as per project drawings and specifications.
Evaluate subcontractor billing and supplier quotations and prepare comparative statements.
Track costs and monitor variations during execution to ensure alignment with the project budget.
Verify and certify contractor bills and progress payments.
Evaluate and process claims and variations for MEP works.
Assist in the resolution of contractual disputes with subcontractors/vendors.
Conduct site measurements and quantity take-offs for MEP systems. Ensure timely measurement of completed works for valuation purposes.
Maintain logs for all cost-related documents such as PO.
