Job Description:
Technical Expertise: Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, MVS, Endeavor , TSO, CICS, Control-M, and basic IBM utilities.
Analyze intricate mainframe programs, identify bottlenecks, and optimize performance.
Production Support: Maintain systems in the mainframe workplace.
Handle production incidents promptly and effectively.
Agile Collaboration: Work closely with product owners to align with the product roadmap.
Facilitate agile events (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives).
Metrics and Transparency: Maintain performance metrics (e.g., burn-down charts) for transparency.
Coordinate efforts across teams to deliver integrated solutions.
Root Cause Analysis: investigate incidents thoroughly, providing root cause analysis.
Initiate performance improvements based on batch cycle trends.
