The Chris Engineering Team is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our growing team. As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our mission-critical software applications. Key Responsibilities:
Develop, test, and maintain high-quality and efficient Java applications
Work closely with designers and project managers to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Collaborate with other developers to ensure code consistency and quality
Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner
Keep up-to-date with industry trends and new technologies to continuously improve our applications
Mentor and guide junior team members in their development
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Java development
Robust working knowledge of Java, Spring Framework, and relational databases
Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps practices
Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment and communicate complex technical concepts
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Attention to detail and ability to write clean, well-documented code
Experience in mentoring and guiding junior team members is a plus
