Core duties involve troubleshooting electrical faults, running diagnostic tests on battery management systems (BMS), performing software updates, and handling mechanical repairs like brakes and suspension to ensure scooters remain secure and roadworthy.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnostics & Troubleshooting: Use specialized diagnostic tools and multimeters to identify electrical, electronic, and mechanical faults.Battery & Motor Systems: Repair, replace, and configure BMS, battery packs, and electric motors.Software Updates: Flash firmware, calibrate connected-app features, and update vehicle control units.Mechanical Repairs: Maintain and repair drivetrain components, steering assemblies, suspension, tires, and braking systems.Process & Safety Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to high-voltage safety protocols, wear protective gear,



and maintain a clean service bay.Inventory & Record Keeping: Document maintenance performed, manage spare parts inventory, and handle warranty part reverse logistics.Requirements & QualificationsEducation: ITI or Diploma in Electrician, Electronics, Motor Vehicle Mechanic, or a related trade.Experience: Typically 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in EV servicing or automotive mechanics.Skills: Robust understanding of high-voltage lithium-ion systems, ability to read electrical schematics, and familiarity with diagnostic software.
