Job Title: Accounts Executive

Location: Purasaiwakkam, Chennai

Experience: 1–3 Years

Qualification: B.Com / M.Com or equivalent

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-orientated and responsible accounts executive to manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial records. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in bookkeeping, GST compliance, taxation, billing, and financial reporting. This role requires solid analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet statutory deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions and books of accounts.
Prepare and process invoices, billing, and payment entries.
Handle bank reconciliations, ledger reconciliations, and journal entries.
Prepare and file GST returns accurately and within deadlines.
Assist in Income Tax Return (ITR) preparation and filing.
Calculate and process TDS deductions, payments, and return filings.
Maintain purchase, sales, and expense records with proper documentation.
Coordinate with auditors, consultants,



and internal stakeholders during audits and financial reviews.
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and company accounting policies.
Prepare MIS reports and support month-end and year-end closing activities.

Required Skills
Robust knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
Hands-on experience with GST, TDS, and income tax compliance.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally ERP/Tally Prime or similar.
Positive analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Candidate Profile
B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification.
1–3 years of relevant experience in accounting and taxation.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a rapid-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Immediate joiners will be preferred.
