A PGT English Teacher is responsible for teaching English language and literature to senior secondary students. The role focuses on developing advanced reading, writing, critical thinking, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
Teach English literature, grammar, and composition as per the prescribed curriculum
Guide students in analyzing prose, poetry, and drama
Develop lesson plans that encourage critical thinking and discussion
Prepare students for board examinations and competitive exams
Assign and evaluate essays, projects, and presentations
Improve students’ speaking, writing, and comprehension skills
Encourage reading habits and literary appreciation
Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning workplace

Qualifications
Master’s degree in English (M.A. in English)
