Role Summary

A barista prepares and serves coffee and other beverages while delivering friendly, efficient customer service. They help create a welcoming café workplace and ensure product quality and cleanliness standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare coffee and espresso drinks (latte, cappuccino, etc.) to standard recipes
Operate coffee machines, grinders, and POS systems
Take customer orders and handle payments
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and seating areas
Restock supplies (cups, beans, milk, syrups)
Provide excellent customer service and handle basic complaints
Follow food safety and hygiene guidelines
Open or close the café (depending on shift)

Skills & Qualifications
Basic knowledge of coffee brewing (training often provided)




Positive communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace
Attention to detail and consistency
Team player with a positive attitude
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays

Preferred (not always required):
Prior experience in a café or customer service role
Familiarity with espresso machines

Physical Requirements
Standing for long periods
Lifting light to moderate items (milk cartons, supplies)
Working in a busy, sometimes noisy environment

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
