Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Finance Subject Matter Expert (SME) from the Pharmaceutical Manufacturing industry to support a strategic consulting assignment. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in finance operations, working capital optimization, profitability analysis, and financial controls, with exposure to finance transformation, analytics, or AI-driven initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory & Working Capital
Analyze inventory across manufacturing plants and warehouses from a working capital perspective.
Identify excess, slow-moving, and obsolete inventory.
Recommend strategies to optimize inventory investment and improve cash flow.
Monitor inventory-related financial KPIs.

Profitability Analysis
Analyze profitability across SKU, product, brand, and customer levels.
Identify high and low-margin products.
Support pricing and product portfolio decisions.
Provide recommendations to improve profitability.





Accounts Payable Optimization
Identify invoices with discount optimization prospects.
Prioritize invoice processing to maximize savings.
Analyze approval and payment cycles.
Identify workflow bottlenecks and recommend process improvements.
Support AI-enabled invoice prioritization and escalation initiatives.

Fraud Detection & Financial Controls
Identify duplicate invoices, duplicate payments, and suspicious transactions.
Analyze vendor and payment anomalies.
Support financial controls, compliance, audit, and risk management initiatives.
