As a Junior QA Engineer (Automation-Focused), you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and quality of our products from day one. You’ll be at the forefront of building a robust automation framework, contributing to faster release cycles, and helping us scale with confidence. Responsibilities:
Design, write, and execute test cases for web and mobile applications
Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts for UI and API testing
Identify, document, and track defects with detailed reproducible steps and debugging insights
Collaborate closely with development teams to understand feature logic, edge cases, and integration flows
Drive regression automation efforts to minimize manual testing and improve release velocity
Actively participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups,



and release coordination
Stay updated with up-to-date test automation practices and continuously improve testing strategies
Take increasing ownership of test coverage and quality for assigned product modules

RequirementsRequirements:
1+ years of QA experience (including internships), with hands-on automation experience
Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java or Python preferred)
Practical experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, Playwright, or similar
Solid understanding of API testing concepts and tools (Postman, REST)
Strong analytical and debugging skills with the ability to trace issues across frontend and backend systems
Comfortable reading and understanding code, including backend service interactions
Proactive mindset with a high sense of ownership and eagerness to learn in a dynamic startup workplace
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related technical field
