Roles and Responsibilities of Head – Investor Relations

Qualifications

MBA degree in Finance & Marketing from a reputed B School.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Extensive travel across the country
Excellent interpersonal and networking skills with a variety of personalities and positions.
Ability to convert complex financial information into understandable text.
Ability to analyse and improve opportunities for investors.
Build, maintain & preserve the company’s relationship with its investors and banks.
One stop medium for investor/bank communication and liaisons
Responsible for raising funds for the company, further building & strengthening a reliable and potential data base of investors. In short,



single handedly responsible for growing the investor base and luring fresh capital for the org.
Handle end to end response management to reassure potentially jittery investors.
Reviewing the financials of competition and fetch financial market news contacts.
A robust understanding of financial reports, analytic methods, and financial data tool
Coordinating shareholder meetings and press conferences, releasing financial data, leading financial analyst briefings
End to end interactions with investment analysts who provide public opinion on the company as an investment prospect.
