URGENT REQUIREMENT
A Civil Site Project Manager is a qualified responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects in the civil engineering sector. This role involves coordinating all aspects of a construction project, from planning and design through to execution and completion. The primary duties of a Civil Project Manager include:
Project Planning: Developing detailed plans and timelines, budgeting, and resource allocation for construction projects. This also involves assessing risks and ensuring all necessary permits and legal requirements are met.
Team Coordination: Managing and supervising teams of engineers, contractors, laborers, and other staff. Ensuring transparent communication and resolving conflicts or issues within the team is crucial.
Budget and Cost Control: Overseeing the project’s financial aspects, ensuring that the project stays within budget. This involves estimating costs, managing expenses, and addressing any financial discrepancies.
Quality Control and Safety: Ensuring that all work meets industry standards and safety regulations. The Civil Project Manager ensures quality inspections are done regularly and that safety protocols are followed to minimize risks in office.
Client Communication:
Acting as the main point of contact between the client and the construction team. The Civil Project Manager provides regular updates on the progress of the project and addresses any concerns or changes the client might have.
Scheduling and Deadlines: Developing a timeline for the project and making sure milestones and deadlines are met. They often use project management software to track progress.
Problem Solving and Risk Management: Handling any unexpected issues or challenges that arise during the project, such as delays, design changes, or material shortages, while managing the associated risks.
Documentation and Reporting: Keeping detailed records of the project's progress, budgets, and any changes or incidents that occur. This documentation may be required for legal reasons or project review.
Education: BTech(Civil), BE(Civil)& Diploma(Civil) with 5 to 10 years of experience as a Civil Site Project Manager.
To succeed as a Civil Site Project Manager, strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential, along with a deep understanding of construction processes and civil engineering principles.
