GAJ GROUP is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring statutory compliance, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the organization's financial reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
Prepare, update, and maintain books of accounts.
Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
Handle GST compliance, including return filing and reconciliation.
Manage TDS calculations, deductions, payments, and return filing.
Ensure compliance with direct and indirect tax regulations.
Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and other management reports.
Monitor and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and government authorities as required.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.




Support internal and external audits by providing necessary financial information.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce (B.Com/M.Com) or an equivalent qualification in Accounting or Finance.
Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
Proficiency in Tally ERP/Tally Prime and Microsoft Excel.
Solid understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, GST, TDS, taxation, and bank reconciliation.
Knowledge of statutory compliance and financial reporting.
Good analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Robust communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.

Preferred Skills
Experience in preparing MIS and financial reports.
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with accounting standards and compliance requirements.
