Job Information:

The counsellor will be responsible to provide support and guidance to students, addressing their academic, personal, social, and emotional needs.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide individual and group counseling sessions to students to address a variety of issues, including academic difficulties, personal problems, social conflicts, and emotional distress.
Assess students needs and develop personalized counseling plans to help them overcome challenges, set goals, and make informed decisions. Advocate for students well-being and academic success by collaborating with teachers, administrators, and parents to identify and address student needs and concerns.
Serve as a resource for students, families, and staff on issues related to mental health, social-emotional development, and community resources.
Facilitate classroom presentations and discussions on relevant mental health and wellness topics to promote awareness and resilience among students.




Collaborate with school staff to implement school-wide initiatives aimed at creating a positive and inclusive school culture.
Conduct assessments and screenings to identify students who may perk from counseling services or additional support.
Monitor and evaluate student progress in counseling sessions, adjusting intervention strategies as needed to promote positive outcomes.
Maintain accurate and confidential records of counseling sessions, assessments, and interventions in accordance with ethical and legal standards.
Collaborate with school and community resources to develop crisis response plans, train staff in crisis intervention techniques, and provide post-crisis support to students and staff.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to monitor/analyze and guide the progress of the students
Ability to work with sincerity and responsibility
Excellent communication skills to connect with the students
Bachelor /Master Degree in Psychology.
Fresher/ Experienced
