Key Responsibilities

Production Operations
Manage daily production activities on PU foam assembly lines.
Ensure production targets are achieved as per customer schedules.
Monitor hourly production and prepare daily production reports.
Coordinate with Planning, Quality, Maintenance, and Stores to ensure uninterrupted production.
Ensure smooth material flow to avoid line stoppages.

Process Control
Monitor PU foam assembly processes and ensure compliance with approved process parameters.
Implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions.
Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
Reduce cycle time and improve line efficiency.
Support recent product launches and engineering changes.

Quality Management
Ensure First Pass Yield (FPY) and product quality meet customer requirements.
Minimize rejection, rework, and customer complaints.
Perform Root Cause Analysis (5 Why, Fishbone) and implement CAPA.
Support PPAP, APQP, PFMEA, Control Plan, and Layered Process Audits.
Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 quality standards.

Productivity Improvement
Conduct Line Balancing and Time Studies.




Improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
Lead Kaizen, 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and Continuous Improvement projects.
Monitor production KPIs and recommend improvements.

Manpower Management
Allocate manpower based on production requirements.
Train operators on work instructions and safety procedures.
Monitor operator performance and productivity.
Maintain discipline and promote teamwork.

Safety & Setting
Ensure compliance with EHS requirements.
Promote protected handling of PU chemicals and production equipment.
Conduct safety observations and risk assessments.
Ensure proper PPE usage and housekeeping.

Maintenance Coordination
Coordinate with Maintenance for preventive and breakdown maintenance.
Ensure minimum machine downtime.
Participate in equipment installation and process validation.

Documentation & Reporting
Prepare Daily Production Reports.
Monitor production efficiency, scrap, OEE, and downtime.
Maintain process records and production documentation.
Present daily MIS reports to management.
