About the Position:

We are looking for a Tuner Engineer.

This position is based at our office in Bangalore.

Your Responsibilities will:
Design and implement AM/FM/DAB/DAB++ Framework HAL for Android Automotive.
Develop C/C++/Java code to interface with radio hardware.
Implement audio data streaming between HAL and Android framework.
Collaborate with engineers on Android Automotive audio stack.
Conduct rigorous testing and validation of the Tuner functionality.




Analyze and interpret radio diagnostic data.
Stay current with advancements in Android Automotive audio and radio hardware.
Contribute to documentation and maintenance of Tuner code.

Other skills that we would welcome:
Proven expertise in C/C++/Java programming with a focus on system-level programming and memory management.
Robust understanding of Android HAL architecture and its interaction with the Android framework.
Solid knowledge of AM/FM radio technology, including modulation techniques, tuner architectures, and signal processing fundamentals.
Deep understanding of DAB and DAB+ modulation techniques, protocols, and associated standards (e.g., ETSI EN PHONE_NUMBER, EN 50417).
Experience with audio hardware interfacing and debugging techniques using tools like oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
