Role & responsibilities

Job Summary:
We are looking for an Application DBA to support database deployments, workplace management, and day-to-day database operations in a project-driven setting. The role focuses on application support rather than database infrastructure.Key Responsibilities:
Support database deployments across QA, UAT, and Production.
Monitor database performance and troubleshoot SQL, locking, blocking, and job failures.
Manage database users, security, and access permissions.
Review database logs, monitor CPU/storage usage, and support backup and recovery.
Resolve database-related incidents and service tickets.
Review code changes, support GitHub merges, and execute deployment scripts.
Work with Agile teams, developers, project managers,



and product owners to support multiple applications.

Required Skills:
Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, or Netezza.
Knowledge of Oracle RAC and Exadata is a plus.
Experience with database deployments, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with GitHub, ServiceNow, and Jira.
Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Experience:
Application DBA or Production Support experience.
Experience in Data Warehouse/OLAP settings.
Ability to manage multiple projects in an Agile environment.
