Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical SolidWorks/Electrical AutoCAD Engineer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, modeling, and documenting electrical systems using SolidWorks Electrical. You will collaborate closely with mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing teams to develop integrated designs and ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts using SolidWorks Electrical (2D & 3D).
Design and model control panels, cable routing, and electrical enclosures.
Create and manage BOMs, wire lists, and technical documentation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration of electrical designs with mechanical systems.
Perform design reviews, design validation, and compliance checks.
Provide support during assembly, testing, and commissioning phases.
Maintain and update design libraries, templates, and standards within SolidWorks Electrical.




Troubleshoot design issues and recommend improvements to optimize system performance.
Electrical schematic discussion with customer ICF/RDSO
Requirements:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
Experience in industries like Railway would be preferred.
5+ years of experience in electrical design using SolidWorks Electrical/Auto CAD.
Experience with electrical panel design, wiring harnesses, and control systems.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in SolidWorks Electrical (2D and 3D)
Understanding of basic electrical engineering
Experience with AutoCAD Electrical, or EPLAN is an advantage.
Soft Skills:
Proficiency in written and verbal English communication, along with solid teamwork skills
Robust problem-solving and analytical abilities
Detail-oriented and well-organized
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Presentation skills in front of the customer
