Deputy Manager / Manager Exports (Documentation & Logistics)

Role Summary

Responsible for managing the end-to-end export documentation and logistics process, from container booking to shipment completion, ensuring timely execution, statutory compliance, and effective coordination with internal teams, customers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and regulatory authorities.

Key Responsibilities
Manage the complete export cycle, including container booking, shipment planning, documentation, invoicing and post-shipment activities.
Prepare, review, and process export documents such as Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Shipping Bill, Certificate of Origin, Insurance, and other statutory documents.
Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, CHAs, banks, customers, and internal departments to ensure smooth and timely shipment execution.
Monitor vessel schedules, shipment timelines, and logistics costs while ensuring on-time deliveries.
Ensure compliance with DGFT, Customs, FEMA, GST, Incoterms, and other applicable export regulations.
Handle export correspondence, resolve documentation and logistics issues,



maintain export records/MIS, and support audits and process improvements.

Desired Candidate Profile
Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related discipline (Postgraduate qualification preferred).
6–10 years of experience in export documentation and international logistics.
Hands-on experience in export documentation, container booking, Bills of Lading, shipping bills, export invoicing, and coordination with freight forwarders and shipping lines.
Positive knowledge of export procedures, Incoterms, Customs, DGFT, FEMA, GST, and ERP systems, Tally ERP with proficiency in MS Office.
Robust communication, coordination, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to manage multiple export shipments.
