Job Description Manager (Estimation)

Job Overview:

We have an urgent opening of Manager/Sr. Manager (Estimation)having in-depth knowledge of overhead crane design/calculations, cost and estimation mainly process cranes of steel plant for Indiaas well asoverseas/international.

Key Responsibilities:
Study tenders/RFQs and summarize the points related to basic engineering and estimation.
Participate in pre-bid discussions with customer and understand the requirement.
Do basic engineering and workout estimated cost of crane, prepare and submit techno-commercial offer; and manage all communicationstill the finalization of order.
Reply/communicate with customers/consultants to their techno commercial queries. Attend meeting/s with customer todiscuss and resolve queries and submit final/revised techno-commercial offer.
Prepare &raise; RFQs of bough outitems to sub-vendors and collect techno-commercial offers for cost &estimation.;




Releaseof work order/s in ERP for further processing &execution; and coordinate for smoother order execution with all concerned departments.
Carrying out basic engineering & calculations like selection of motors, brakes, gearboxes, rope drums, wire rope, pulley, etc., for internal approval.
Attendkick-off meetings with customers and interdisciplinary co-ordination with various departments for successful engineering.
Participate in project review meeting/s for tracking project progress.
Working on task given by HODrelated to Marketing activities.
Checking of cost &estimation; prepared by engineer/s and training
Cost optimization.
Maintaining customer relationship.

Key Qualifications:
Bachelor / Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering
In depth knowledge of Indian Crane Design Standards and international crane design standardsviz. FEM, CMAA, DIN, AISE, etc.
Autocad 2D proficiency
