Role - Plant Head

Location - Assam & Odisha

Key Responsibilities
Oversee end-to-end plant operations, including Production, Quality, Maintenance, Stores, and Dispatch.
Ensure achievement of production targets while maintaining quality and cost efficiency.
Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, reduce wastage, and optimize resources.
Monitor plant performance through KPIs and drive continuous process improvements.
Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety regulations, and statutory compliance.
Lead and mentor production and operations teams to enhance performance and accountability.
Coordinate with Procurement, Sales, and Supply Chain teams for smooth production planning and dispatch.
Manage plant budgets, inventory control, and cost reduction initiatives.
Handle customer audits, internal audits, and implement corrective actions where required.




Ensure proper maintenance of machinery and uninterrupted plant operations.

Requirements
Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Polymer, Plastic Technology, or a related discipline. An MBA/PG qualification will be an added advantage.
10+ years of experience in the plastic manufacturing industry, with significant exposure to plant operations and team management.
Solid knowledge of production planning, quality systems, maintenance, inventory management, and process optimization.
Proven leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and people management skills with the ability to lead large teams.
Candidates with experience in Injection Moulding, Blow Moulding, Extrusion, or similar plastic manufacturing processes will be preferred.
