Job Description
Manages complex planning studies, development applications and reviews.
Reviews and processes complex comprehensive plan amendments, rezoning, annexations, site plans and plats.
Conducts research and prepares statistical reports on land use, physical, social and economic issues.
Provides qualified planning assistance to member communities on diverse land use and transportation projects.
Develops plans, studies and analyses on regional basis.
Works in regional program areas relating to natural/water resources planning, community development, hazard mitigation, coastal zone management, and others.
Performs field inspections to gather data relevant to the development review process and/or to verify that development projects comply with approved plans.




Conducts meetings and presents reports and other findings to staff with advisory boards and elected officials.

Qualifications
Masters degree in the relevant subject (e.g., Transport Planning/Engineering, or related subjects)
7+ year's experience in Transport Planning
7+ years of experience in Operational Modelling Software PTV VISSIM/ VISUM
Proficiency with some, or all of the following would also be considered beneficial:
LinSig /Synchro/Sidra/Junction 10
PTV VISWALK/Legion
Working knowledge of AutoCAD
VISSIM COM and MOVA would be a particular advantage
