Mechanical Design Engineer Cast Resin Transformer (CRT)

Location: Gurgaon / Bhiwadi

Role Objective

Design and develop mechanical systems for Cast Resin Transformers (CRT), ensuring structural integrity, thermal management, and compliance with industry standards. Support integration of CRT systems into turnkey power solutions across diverse applications.

Key Responsibilities
Lead mechanical design and development of Cast Resin Transformers (CRT).
Prepare detailed mechanical drawings, CAD models, and technical specifications.
Ensure compliance with IEC/IS standards and customer requirements.
Collaborate with electrical, production, and quality teams for seamless execution.
Conduct structural, thermal, and vibration analysis for CRT systems.
Support techno-commercial discussions with clients and consultants.
Provide technical expertise during installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
Drive continuous improvement in design processes, material selection, and cost efficiency.

Ideal Candidate Profile
Robust background in mechanical design for transformers, preferably CRT.




Hands-on experience with CAD tools and mechanical analysis software.
Ability to handle design documentation and client interactions independently.
Exposure to turnkey or solution-based projects is an advantage.

Required Skills
Mechanical design transformer engineering
CAD/CAE proficiency (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.)
Standards compliance (IEC/IS)
Techno-commercial support capability

Experience

Several years of experience in transformer mechanical design, preferably Cast Resin Transformers.

Education

Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
