Position Overview:

AECOM is looking for the position of Supervisor - Civil/Mechanical Transmission Line, who will provide field-level supervision of foundation, stub-setting, civil works and tower erection within the assigned transmission line work front.

Key Responsibilities:
Verify tower location, foundation type, excavation dimensions and founding conditions.
Check dewatering, soil condition, benching, shoring and excavation safety.
Verify reinforcement, formwork, cover, anchor/stub templates and stub orientation.
Check concrete grade, batching, slump, cube sampling, pouring, compaction and curing.
Verify chimney dimensions, backfilling, compaction and site restoration.
Monitor special foundations including pile, raft, rock-anchor or well foundations, where applicable.
Verify tower member identification, assembly sequence, bolt installation and tightening.
Monitor tower erection, crane operations, lifting sequence, temporary supports and guying.
Check tower verticality, member damage, missing members, bolt punching and anti-theft arrangements.
Ensure compliance with approved drawings, method statements and ITP requirements.




Coordinate stage inspections with survey, QA/QC and HSE personnel.
Maintain inspection checklists, pour cards, erection records and daily progress records.
Identify defective or non-conforming work and report it to the Section In-Charge and QA/QC team.
Support punch-point closure and final tower acceptance.

Punch-list and completion records. Qualifications

Minimum Qualification and Experience:
Diploma or degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of transmission line construction experience.
Experience in tower foundations, stub-setting and tower erection.
Familiarity with concrete, reinforcement, lifting and erection inspection requirements.
