Role & responsibilities
Conduct pre-anesthetic evaluation and risk assessment for cardiac surgery patients.
Administer anesthesia for cardiac surgeries including CABG, valve replacement, congenital heart surgeries, and vascular procedures.
Manage anesthesia during interventional cardiology and cath lab procedures.
Monitor hemodynamic parameters and manage intra-operative emergencies.
Handle advanced airway management and ventilator support.
Interpret arterial blood gases, ECG, echocardiography findings, and invasive monitoring data.
Coordinate with cardiac surgeons, perfusionists, intensivists, and OT staff for smooth surgical workflow.
Manage post-operative pain, sedation, and ICU transfer protocols.
Participate in code blue and emergency resuscitation procedures.
Ensure compliance with NABH protocols, infection control, and patient safety standards.
Maintain accurate anesthesia records and clinical documentation.
Train junior doctors, nurses, and OT technicians when required.Preferred candidate profile

Fellowship / DM / Specialized training in Cardiac Anaesthesia preferred
