Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and maintain security controls across IT and OT network environments.
Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot firewalls (Cisco ASA/Firepower, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or similar).
Manage and secure Layer 2/Layer 3 switching infrastructure, including VLANs, trunking, and segmentation.
Deploy and administer Cisco Cyber Vision for OT asset visibility, threat detection, and network monitoring.
Collaborate with plant/production teams to ensure security measures do not disrupt operational continuity.
Support incident response, root cause analysis, and remediation for network security events.
Maintain documentation for network diagrams, firewall rules, access controls, and security policies.
Perform regular vulnerability assessments and support patch management for OT network devices.
Assist in access control management (802.1X, NAC) for both IT and OT environments.
Stay current with emerging threats,
vulnerabilities, and best practices in OT/ICS security.
Required Skills & Qualifications
2–3 years of experience in network security engineering, with exposure to OT/ICS settings
Solid understanding of firewalls — rule creation, policy management, VPNs, NAT
Solid grasp of switching concepts — VLANs, STP, trunking, port security, inter-VLAN routing
Hands-on experience with Cisco Cyber Vision (or similar OT visibility tools) is mandatory
CCNA certification is mandatory
Familiarity with SIEM tools and log analysis is a plus.
Basic understanding of Windows/Linux server environments
Robust troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Good communication skills to coordinate with both IT and OT/plant team.
