Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Safety Engineer for our school building construction project at Gadepan, Kota. The candidate will be responsible for implementing and monitoring safety practices at the construction site, ensuring compliance with applicable safety standards, and maintaining a protected working setting for all workers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and monitor site-specific Health, Safety & Setting (HSE) plans.
Ensure compliance with statutory safety requirements, project specifications, and applicable safety standards.
Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to identify unsafe conditions and recommend corrective actions.
Ensure proper implementation of safety procedures for civil, structural, electrical, and MEP activities.
Conduct daily toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness training for workers and subcontractors.
Monitor usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensure compliance at the workplace.
Prepare and maintain safety records, inspection reports, incident reports, and safety documentation.
Investigate accidents, near misses, and unsafe practices, and implement preventive measures.
Ensure safe working practices for activities such as work at height, scaffolding, lifting operations,



excavation, electrical works, and material handling.
Coordinate with project management, contractors, and consultants regarding safety-related matters.
Ensure emergency preparedness, including fire safety arrangements, first aid facilities, and emergency response procedures.
Support statutory inspections and maintain compliance records as required.

Qualification & Experience
Diploma / Degree in Safety Engineering, Fire & Safety, Civil Engineering, or relevant field.
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Safety Engineer in building construction projects.
Experience in school, institutional, commercial, or large-scale building projects will be preferred.
Good knowledge of construction safety practices, risk assessment, and safety management systems.
Familiarity with relevant safety regulations, labour laws, and construction safety standards.
Good communication and reporting skills.

Preferred Skills
Strong site monitoring and coordination abilities.
Ability to conduct safety training and awareness programs.
Knowledge of fire safety, emergency management, and construction risk control.
Proficiency in preparing safety reports and documentation.
