Role & responsibilities

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registrar Obstetrics & Gynecology to provide comprehensive care to women during pregnancy, childbirth, and gynecological conditions. The candidate will work closely with consultants, manage inpatient and outpatient services, and provide emergency obstetric and gynecological care.

Key Responsibilities
Examine, diagnose, and manage obstetric and gynecological patients.
Conduct antenatal, postnatal, and gynecology outpatient clinics.
Assist and perform normal and emergency deliveries, including cesarean sections (as per hospital protocol and experience).
Manage obstetric and gynecological emergencies.
Perform routine gynecological procedures under consultant supervision.
Monitor admitted patients and maintain accurate medical records.
Coordinate with consultants, nursing staff, and other departments to ensure quality patient care.
Counsel patients and their families regarding treatment plans.
Participate in ward rounds, academic sessions, CMEs, and departmental meetings.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, ethical standards, and NABH guidelines.
