Role & responsibilities
Implement laboratory-wise safety initiatives, safety systems, committees, meetings, and audits.
Prepare safety procedures, ensure adherence, and conduct Workplace Hazards identification and Risk
Assessment (HIRA).
Research, monitor, and assess workplace hazards; coordinate health and safety programs.
Maintain 100% involvement in day-to-day activities.
Promote the use of all safety equipment, including personal protective equipment (PPE).
Coordinate all safety-related activities, including training materials development, review, and site
inspections.
Investigate and record accidents and injuries that occur in the workplace.
Perform other duties related to the Quality Management System (QMS) section.
Involvement in future accreditation projects (Fire NOC project).

Promote health and safety awareness among all employees.
Promote the use of all safety equipment, including personal protective equipment.
Carry out workplace inspections, take appropriate action to ensure compliance, and respond to worker/
IT Skills:
Preparation of safety-related MIS and knowledge of MS Office.
Knowledge of ERP systems.
Technical Skills:
Solid understanding of regulatory guidelines and standards (ISO 45001, ISO-14001, ISO-9001).
Working knowledge of The Workplace Safety and Health Act and related legislation.
Ability to maintain effective work relationships.
Behavioral Skills:
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Valuable organizational skill
