Role & responsibilities
Lead and manage overall plant operations.
Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve production, quality, safety and cost.
Optimize plant performance through continuous improvement.
Manage production planning, scheduling, manpower allocation, and workflow to meet customer demand.
Ensure strict adherence to SHE, policies and statutory compliance.
Monitor KPIs and drive performance improvement across all functions.
Collaborate with other departments for smooth and productive plant operations.
Lead, develop, and motivate team to build a high-performance culture and drive result.
Manage budgets, control costs, and contribute to profitability improvement initiatives.

Preferred candidate profile




Bachelor degree in Mechanical/ Chemical/ Industrial Engineering (BE/ B. Tech).
10 - 15 years of experience in plant operation/ production management in FMCG/ paper/ tissue/ manufacturing industry.
Minimum 5 years of experience in senior leadership role (Plant Manager/ Operation Manager).
Robust knowledge of manufacturing processes, TPM, LEAN, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Excellent leadership, decision making, problem solving, and communication skills.
Proficient in MS Office and data-driven decision making.
Willingness to work in shifts and handle operational challenges.
