Role & responsibilities
Takes complete hand over of her /his assigned patient
Does Comprehensive and accurate nursing Assessment Of patients through Head to Foot examination
Assessing Patient condition and Planning and Implementing Patient care Plans
Provide Nursing care according to plan
Evaluates effectiveness of nursing care seeking Assistance and knowledge as necessary
Observing and recording patients Vital signs
Administer Intravenous Fluids and Medications as per orders
Take Blood Samples as per order
Cleans and Bandages Wounds
Provide Basic Bed side care
Send MLC Report For Medico Legal Cases
Follow Medication Rights while administering medicines
Follow standard Precautions while handling Patients
Follow narcotic policy while using narcotic drugs.
Ensuring that Ventilators, Monitors and Other Types Of medical Equipments Function Properly.
Ensures that the assigned patients bedside is kept clean and Explicit at all times.
Accompany the Patient while Transferring to Other department and Moving for Investigation.
.Maintain proper supplies and appropriate medical equipment to care for Patients




Make sure Ambulance is Ready at all times to Receive Ambulance Calls
Replace all used medications/consumables to stock before leaving of Shift and before Patient Discharge.
Ensure timely and accurate entries in Billing at all times.
Checks all documentation (nurse’s note, charts, consents, and patient data) for its completeness., .
Receives all newly admitted patients and practices her /his skills in protected and productive manner. Follows guidelines laid in protocols.
Collects and sends all relevant documents duly completed to ensure speedy transfers or discharge process .Will accompany all critical &helpless; patients.
Performs nursing procedures as per set protocols in the department.
Takes care of all dying patients, maintains seriousness and accompanies every dead body.
Attends all in-service education programs and takes mandatory certification programs.
Attends and follow all the Infection control programs and guidelines.
Make sure the Bed is ready at all times to receive new admissions
