Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced CNC / VMC / HMC Machine Operator to operate and monitor machining centers for precision manufacturing of components. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in CNC machining operations, machine setup, tooling, inspection, and maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
Operate CNC / VMC / HMC machines as per production plan and job specifications.
Perform machine setup, job loading/unloading, and tool offset adjustments.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and process sheets.
Monitor machining operations and ensure dimensional accuracy of components.
Conduct in-process inspection using measuring instruments such as:




Vernier caliper
Micrometer
Height gauge
Bore gauge
Change tools/inserts as required and ensure proper tool life management.
Maintain required production output while ensuring product quality.
Identify machine abnormalities and report breakdowns to maintenance/team leader.
Maintain machine cleanliness and follow preventive maintenance checklists.
Record production data, rejection, tool usage, and daily machine reports.
Follow safety procedures, GMP practices, and company SOPs.

Required Skills & Qualifications
ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical qualification.
34 years of experience operating CNC / VMC / HMC machines in a manufacturing setting.
Knowledge of machining parameters, tooling, feeds & speeds.
Ability to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T; basics.
Experience with precision measuring instruments.
Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
Valuable understanding of quality requirements and shop-floor discipline.
