Role & responsibilities
Teach Social Studies (History, Geography, Civics, and related subjects) to Secondary school students, following the Orchids curriculum.
Deliver interactive and engaging lessons aligned with pre-defined lesson plans while adhering to the Orchids teaching methodology.
Assess student progress through assignments, projects, classwork, and examinations.
Maintain classroom discipline and foster a positive, inclusive, and student-centered learning workplace.
Update and maintain accurate academic records on the school's online portal.
Communicate regularly with parents regarding student performance, progress, and areas of improvement.
Participate in faculty meetings, parent-teacher meetings, training programs, and school events.
Integrate digital tools and cutting-edge teaching strategies to enhance classroom learning.

Preferred candidate profile
Bachelor's degree in Social Studies or a related field.
Mandatory: B.Ed.
Minimum 2+ years of teaching experience in Social Studies.
Experience in a CBSE school will be an added advantage.
