Position: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Industry: Diamond Manufacturing, Gemstone, and Precious Metals / Luxury Jewellery Retail
Reports To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Board of Directors

Key Responsibilities
Jewellery Economics & Inventory Control
Oversee accurate accounting of gold, diamonds, and precious stones, including karat, weight, wastage, yield analysis, and inventory turns .
Manage costing models based on rough-to-polished yield conversion, market trends, and wastage norms.
Develop SKU-level profitability and store-wise performance accounting dashboards.
Financial Strategy, Budgeting & Fundraising
Lead annual budgeting and seasonal demand forecasting (e.g., wedding seasons, festivals).
Manage critical working capital, specifically bullion hedging, cash flow, and metal leasing.
Prepare and present financial models to secure funding, private equity, or manage investor relations .
Compliance, Taxation & Governance




Ensure compliance with GST and MCA regulations specific to the bullion and jewellery trade.
Coordinate statutory, internal, and tax audits.
Manage EXIM (Export-Import) compliance, customs duty, and transfer pricing for rough diamond imports and polished jewellery exports.
Lead the company's IPO journey and ensure post-listing compliance where applicable.

Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or CPA / ICWA (CMA).
Experience: 15+ years in finance and accounts, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the luxury retail, diamond, or gemstone industry.
Core Skills: Deep understanding of ERP systems (SAP/Oracle), precious metal/diamond grading, working capital management , and retail store finance.
