Role & responsibilities
Qualification: MBBS with AFIH (Associate Fellow of Industrial Health) Mandatory
Experience: 1–6 Years in Occupational Health Centres (Manufacturing/Pharma/Chemical Industry Preferred)
Provide primary medical care and emergency treatment to employees at the Occupational Health Centre.
Conduct pre-employment, periodic, and statutory medical examinations as per regulatory requirements.
Manage occupational illnesses, workplace injuries, and ensure timely medical intervention.
Monitor employee health, maintain confidential medical records, and submit statutory health reports.
Ensure compliance with the Factories Act, Occupational Health & Safety guidelines, and company policies.
Lead health surveillance programs for employees exposed to occupational hazards.
Coordinate health awareness initiatives, vaccination drives, wellness programs, and health camps.
Support emergency preparedness by participating in mock drills and coordinating with external hospitals during medical emergencies.
Advise management on occupational health risks, ergonomics, and preventive healthcare measures.
Collaborate with EHS, HR, and departmental teams to promote a secure and healthy workplace.
Preferred Skills: Solid clinical assessment, emergency response, statutory compliance knowledge, excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
