The Security Engineer - Edge technology is responsible for safeguarding eCommerce platforms against web-based attacks, automated threats, and traffic anomalies. This role focuses on the operation, optimization, and continuous tuning of WAF and bot-mitigation technologies, ensuring that customer-facing applications remain secure, reliable, and resilient. Key Responsibilities Web Application Security (WAF) Operations Manage and optimize WAF configuration across all eCommerce and DTC subdomains. Deploy and maintain firewall rules, managed rulesets, rate-limiting policies, and custom response behaviors. Conduct rule tuning to reduce false positives and ensure minimal customer impact.



Collaborate with application and platform teams to design secure edge routing and traffic flows Bot Defense & Automated Threat Mitigation Operate and tune bot-mitigation technologies to detect and block automated abuse (scraping, credential stuffing, carding, inventory hoarding).
